About Dr. Sudeep, He is an Internal Medicine, Cardio-Diabetes & Geriatric Physician with special interest in dementia, fall prevention, polypharmacy, adult primary care, preventive medicine and community geriatric care.

Geriatrics or Geriatric Medicine, is a specialty that focuses primarily on health care of elderly people above the age of 60 years. It aims to promote health by preventing and treating diseases, disabilities & co-morbidities in older adults. It is important to note the difference between geriatrics, the care of aged people, and gerontology, which is the study of the aging process itself.

  • Activities in creating awareness on Elder Abuse.
A Geriatrician has major roles to assess and head elderly patients using a team based approach. A geriatrician is a coordinator for elderly patients who have physical and mental disorders. We have to take care of not only diseases, but also the patients’ lives after discharge from hospitals. Geriatrician should coordinates a team based approach and maintain contact with care managers. In general hospitals, discharge planning, which supports short and smooth discharge is an important role of geriatrician. We are frequently asked to see elderly patient by specialists because of difficult problems, such as delirium, cognitive dysfunction and communication disorder.

The Geriatric Clinic serves the senior citizen on Monday to Friday between 05:00 pm to 08:00 pm in OPD at Bhavishya Geriatric Clinic+ Indrapuram, AGRA
